Executive Chef Arturo Tovar along with his team of skilled sous chef’s and bakers take pride in every dish served at The Pecan Grill & Brewery. In addition to a delicious bite every time, presentation is also a key factor at the Pecan Grill. Using as many local ingredients as possible including Young Guns Hatch green chile’s, each dish at The Pecan Grill & Brewery is meant to inspire your taste buds and leave you begging for more.
Good Eats New Mexico Recommends…
Tempura Stuffed Shrimp
Four shrimp, wrapped in bacon, stuffed with cream cheese and jalapeños, tempura battered and fried, drizzled with chipotle aioli
Shrimp and Mahi Mahi made into cakes served over a spicy slaw with a sweet and sour drizzle
Seared ahi tuna served with avocado and limes, topped with jalapenos, and a side of ponzu sauce
All three paired with: D’s Pale Ale
India Pale Ale (IPA), Pecan Grill and Brewery
Well rounded with a strong grapefruit and pine flavoring with just a hint of pepper. This brew has great head retention and a strong hop aroma
Famous Lava Burger
8 oz. ground beef stuffed with American and white cheddar cheeses, topped with roasted green chile and garlic aioli on a brioche bun, served with fries
Surf and Turf
8oz flat iron served with a seafood caked and grilled shrimp topped with a garlic bur blanc sauce, served with scallop potatoes and asparagus
Both paired with: Aggie Amber Ale
Red Ale – American Amber/Red, Pecan Grill and Brewery
Blends eight different types of barley to create this amber ale. It appeals to the largest segment of craft beer drinkers who enjoy a smooth, malty ale with no hop bitterness
Green Chile Chicken
Airline chicken breast stuffed with Hatch green chiles & cheese, topped with a roasted red pepper alfredo sauce, served with green chile risotto and grilled asparagus
Paired with: Green Chile Lager
Spice/Herb/Vegetable, Pecan Grill and Brewery
Roasted chile aroma and flavor without being too hot. The whole chile is used to infuse the beer with a mild green chile flavor leaving just a hint of heat on the back end
Chocolate chip cookie baked in a skillet to a golden brown color. Served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top
Strawberry Short Cake
Layers of vanilla sponge cake filled a sweet mascarpone cream filling flavored with orange liqueur, and added with fresh sliced strawberries in between each layer
Both paired wth: D’s Desert Stout
Sweet Stout, Pecan Grill and Brewery
Signature stout has a wonderfully creamy, smooth long finish and packs a punch with twice the gravity of Guinness
